the shepherd who trained me from nothing!

personally am very excited abt this event..Anniversary always give ppl a sentimental and nostalgic feeling.I love anniversaries because it helps me reflect on God's mercy and goodness in my life. In a blink of an eye, I have been with this church for 7 yrs already. Joined my very first Hope Singapore Adults service at Kreta Ayer People's Threatre (KAPT). It was on the 24th of December 1999. I was Sec 3 at that time. After a few months, I was brought to the Youth Service at Bishan Salvation Army on the 27th April 2000. There was where I got to know my first UL,my first CL and my first shepherd. Felt the tangible presence of God that day and decide to commit to serve God in my school. 2 weeks later, i became a follow upper.Know nuts abt follow upping, but God chose me and used me.Turned CL on 16th Sept 2000.Was really excited to attend the UDMM at that time at the old Meridien foodcourt.Made many mistakes,done many wrong things,disappointed my leaders and God many times...but yet God and my leaders still trusted and believed in me.Took up a unit in April 2003..was really scared because at that time,i was leading the CAF (Drama and Dance) ministry at the same time.Though the CAF ministry was only a short while, it trained me much...in character and skills. Went to army in Oct 2004, passed on my unit to my 3 disciples. The 2 yrs in army was a test of my faith and trust in God as many times, i felt lost abt what he wants me to do in Youth and ultimately do in life. Finished my army in 0ct 2006.Led Northwest B with a bunch of cool leaders under my care,could say that it was a highlight in my ministry as i went thru my highs and lows with them. And in April 2007, took up the whole West ministry.when i first know abt this, it was really madness as I thought i was inadequate for the task. But God, once again, in His awesomeness, showed that those who trust in Him is more than able. By His grace, I have held on for 7 yrs.Dear Lord, remember our covenant,remember our promise...Serving Him till the end of my life.Amen!
