hi everyone..am back!this post is fully narrative and its for the West BBQ~!

last saturday was a eventful day.i mean it was really a day of unpredictability.that day started of with great expectation for me as it was the first ever West BBQ that we are going to have.the stage has been set,the food has been ordered, the visitors have been invited, the fasting and praying have been done on the previous day and what's left was for God to work.I had school in the morning..rushed down for service after class..and after service, all the Westlanders went down to starhub centre excitedly to wait for the bus to fetch us to Sembawang Park.First incident that happened on the bus was that Mingyee realised that she lost her mobile in nexus.. and the thing was that we were all on the bus already.first test of faith!ting and her prayed and tried calling the phone.the phone was not engaged,but no one picked it up.we called a few times and in the end, we left that matter to God.Half a hour later, we reached Sembawang Park.personally it was my first time there..it was not a bad place to have BBQ there.people alighted the bus and started heading towards the BBQ pits.everyone went ahead to change to our casual wear and ting started the games briefing.Justin and I was happily preparing the charcoal to start the fire.and low and behold, we heard the sound of thunder while preparing.was telling God and myself:"God, i fasted for no rain ytd,this could not be happening rite?".So i kept faith and went on preparing the charcoal.shortly when me and justin was done,it started to rain.so all of us shifted our bags to the shelters and waited.many thots went thru my mind,asking "will the people enjoy?hope that they don't complain." 20 mins later, the rain stopped.i praised God and we went back to our pits,wanting to continue with the briefing and games.5 mins later, a downpour began.and i was like -.-"" "Okaayy..God,you muz be kidding rite?"then me and ting started scouting places for back up plans for unit games, so that people will not get bored. so 30 mins later, the rain stopped again. so me and justin went to start the fire and ting,christine and jency went to distribute the bee hoon and fried rice.many people were required to crowd around the pit as we need people to block the wind to start the fire.first fire started!halfway there to the start of the BBQing.and then second fire started, we were all set.and guessed what? the third bout of rain came, bigger than the first 2.Woah man, at that point of time, i dunno what to say. and i told God:"you muz have a reason for this."so sathya,ting and jency shielded one of the pits with 3 umbrellas and BBQing the otahs for the people first.Me and justin thot of a idea to start a "BBQ pit" indoors using bricks and stones.So we did that.15 mins later, we started a fire.30 mins later, this rain stopped. and the rest was fun and fellowshipping.some of them had to leave early..some of us stayed till 11 plus.but nonetheless, i believed that we enjoyed ourselves talking and sharing. In fact, at the end of everything, God spoked:"though alot that happened is out of ur plans, it was in MINE.and I believed that I have made your West BBQ an unforgettable one."what i had to reply God was "THANK YOU!"
